Dr. Baum has worked for many years with middle school and high school students to address executive function and organizational deficits. She targets skills related to time management, planning, prioritization, and completion of assignments, and maintaining order of one’s belongings and school materials. Dr. Baum also specializes in remediating a student’s writing skills, and she has been trained in the nationally renowned Hochman method of writing, developed at the Windward School in New York, which is an explicit, step-by-step, highly structured approach to teaching writing.
